The Riu Palace is right off Palm Beach, and the stretch of beach in front of the hotel is one of the best in the area. There are two pools (one with an adjacent Jacuzzi) and a wading pool for children. The sand is white and clean; there are plenty of sun beds at the beach and beside the pool for the guests’ use. Unfortunately, the beach and the poolside can get crowded so you may have to wake up early to “reserve” the sun bed of your choice.
The rooms are more than satisfactory. They, like the rest of the hotel, are well maintained and the staff does its best to keep the whole place clean. The hotel staff is friendly and very accommodating; a tip here and there should ensure special treatment. The view is definitely worth extra so be sure to get a sea view room or suite. Wi-Fi is available but not free; keep this in mind if you will be using the internet a lot. This hotel is expensive; on the average, accommodations cost around $600.

You’ll love Casa del Mar Beach Resort if you want some family bonding time and a lot of R&R. At Casa del Mar, there are daily recreational activities for kids and adults; there are stretching classes, movie nights, musical entertainment, bingo, shirt and bag painting, etc. There are several pools on-site plus in the sister property – the Aruba Beach Club. The beach is right across the street for Ambassador Suites’ guests but right outside their building for Presidential Suites’ guests. Depending on the season, Presidential Suites cost $325 or $450 per night while Ambassador Suites cost $175 or $225.
The staff at the resort is thorough, and they come to clean every day without fail. The room appointments and the kitchen appliances can do with a revamp but they work well enough as they are. At the Casa del Mar, you can swim, body surf and get some sun. There’s no night life in the resort itself, but you can easily visit neighboring hotels and resorts, restaurants and the nearby Alhambra casino for some nighttime fun.

Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa is located in Palm Beach. This is a beachfront property so you need not walk far to get to the water’s edge. The beach is great, and it is never too crowded so you are not really in danger of running out of beach huts or palapas. In any case, you may reserve a beach hut the night before your planned beach excursion so you can be sure you will get a hut. You can also get free beach towels; at the beach, there is also free ice water.
If you tire of the beach, you can lounge around Radisson’s pool. If you have kids, they will love wading in. The staff is helpful, and they will make try to make your stay special. The food at the Sunset Grille is not that great, though. There is also a teeniest problem with the beds; they are too high so you will have to “climb” them. Notwithstanding the too-high bed, you will definitely enjoy your stay. Rates range from $175 to nearly $650, depending on the room/suite type.

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort Aruba is one of your Eagle Beach accommodation options. As the name suggests, this hotel offers guests a taste of Amsterdam in a distinctly Caribbean setting. There’s no need to worry though for the rooms are larger than typical Amsterdam hotel rooms. The hotel has its own restaurants: Passions and Mango, both of which serve sumptuous food. It has a pool, although it’s nothing special. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is right on the beach – a 30-second walk should take you to the water’s edge. The water is heavenly and the beach is not very crowded.
In Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort Aruba, you have a choice among the studio rooms (standard and superior) and suites (1-bedroom and 2-bedroom). Studio rooms are only for up to two persons whereas suites may be for triple or quad occupancy. Room rates for single/double occupancy range from $249 to $389 during high season while they range only from $159 to $289 during low season.

Arubiana Inn can be found in Oranjestad and is approximately 10 minutes away on foot from Eagle Beach. It is not on the beach, but this may be deemed an advantage in some ways. For one, you will be away from the noise and bustle of the beach area. For another, the price is certainly cheaper this side of Aruba; a single night for 2 in one of the 18 rooms costs only from $75 to $97.50, depending on the season. There’s certainly no reason to miss any of the beach fun. You can windsurf, dive, kitesurf, sail, swim, and do any of the activities for which Aruba is famous; just tell the hotel staff about what you want to do and they will tell you where you should go.
Breakfast is filling and costs only $9.50 per person; coffee and tea are free from 8 to 10 am. Beach towels and coolers are provided to guests free of charge, while snorkeling equipment and beach chairs may be rented on a daily basis. The rooms are air conditioned, with a direct-dial telephone, cable TV and wireless internet access.

Sasaki Apartments offers affordable accommodations near Eagle Beach. The property is not on the beach itself, which is probably why it costs less than similar hotels in the area. However, the beach is only 8 minutes away on foot. There’s also a mini-golf course just across the road. Everything else you may want to visit is just a short hop by car; car rental in Aruba is affordable and driving is easy, so you should have no problems on this count.
The rooms are probably not what you’d call luxurious, but they are very comfortable. All studio apartments are equipped with standard hotel room appliances; the family studio apartments even have kitchenettes. There’s wireless internet access and there’s a pool, too. The owners are very friendly and hospitable and so is the staff. In fact, if you are not looking for anything fancy but something that will make a great base for your Aruba excursions, then you will enjoy staying at Sasaki Apartments where the daily rate for an apartment is only $90 or $110, depending on the season.

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive is in Oranjestad. The guest units are air-conditioned, have a bath and shower and have a private veranda. They are also equipped with standard amenities: satellite TV, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, fridge, alarm clock, etc. Some of the guest units, moreover, open out to the sea. An in-room safe and internet access may be provided for an extra charge. Room rates start at $306. It is much better, however, to opt for all-inclusive rates. By doing that, you can get a packaged stay that is inclusive of all your meals and snacks, unlimited beverages, the use of the freshwater pools in the property and neighboring properties, plus other perks as well.
The beach is wonderful at Tamarijn. You can pass your days getting a tan, or you can treat yourself to a body scrub and other beauty treatments at the hotel spa. There are also packaged excursions that you can avail of including snorkeling, diving and golfing excursions.

The Coral Reef Beach Villa and Apartments is a small, family-run affair in Savaneta, around thirty minutes from Oranjestad. The place is near very good restaurants; you can also shop for fresh fish at a nearby fishing bar then grill it at the resort. The hosts, Peter and Julie, are very friendly and hospitable. Some days you can stay on the dock or even fish from there; you can also jump off the dock and cool off in the sea. You may also rent a car and drive to Oranjestad and other places (say a good beach) if you want a change of scenery. You should ask your hosts about good places for diving and snorkeling.
There’s no pool so if you want one, this is not the place for you. In Coral Reef Beach Villa, the guest rooms open out to the beach and have their own kitchen and cable TV. The beds are not fancy but comfortable. There’s also Wi-Fi and A/C (although you probably won’t need the latter), and the place is a steal as an apartment costs only $499 per week.

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa has great location. Manchebo’s stretch of beach property is probably the best among comparable resorts in Eagle Beach. The huts on the beach may be used on a first-come, first-served basis; you’ll have to be out really early though if you want to get a hut as near to the water as possible. On the upside, the huts are spaced far apart so you won’t feel crowded out by the guests on neighboring huts. The Alhambra Casino is close by if you are feeling lucky.
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa also has great food. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort; there’s the French Steakhouse, Giorgio’s and the Pega Pega Bar. If you are into water sports like jet skiing and diving, you’ll have to look somewhere else for Manchebo does not provide hotel-packaged activities. Depending on the season, Garden View Rooms cost from $169 to $255 while Ocean View Rooms cost from $195 to $305.

The Bucuti Beach Resort in Aruba is not on just any beach – it is on the Eagle Beach which, as you probably know, is one of Aruba’s most gorgeous beaches. You’re definitely going to enjoy sunbathing and walking on the Bucuti Beach. The view is amazing from the hotel; swimming may be tricky in the rocky parts, though.
The rooms, which cost from $250 to $416 during low season and $362 to $535 during high season (exclusive of taxes but inclusive of a daily breakfast buffet), are comfortable. They are furnished with large beds and equipped with a cable TV and other typical hotel room appliances (iron, microwave, hairdryer, coffeemaker, etc.). There’s Wi-Fi, too. There’s also a terrace where you can get some sun and look at the great view. Smoking in the rooms, however, is a strict no-no.
Bucuti Beach Resort has a restaurant off the beach; the view is wonderful, as always. The food and drinks can be expensive, but you can go off-site to find other dining facilities.
